About the Role

Our client requires an experienced Industrial Cleaning Specialist to maintain cleanliness and safety within their facilities in Pretoria . This role demands a high level of expertise in handling specialized cleaning tasks common in industrial settings, ensuring compliance with stringent safety protocols. You will be responsible for the upkeep of machinery, production areas, and general facilities, contributing directly to operational efficiency and a safe working environment. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and possesses a thorough understanding of industrial-grade cleaning methodologies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities Perform specialized cleaning of industrial machinery, equipment, and production floors. Manage the safe handling and disposal of industrial waste and hazardous materials. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and rectify potential safety hazards related to cleanliness. Operate and maintain specialized industrial cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers and floor scrubbers. Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols during all cleaning operations. Respond effectively to spills and emergencies, ensuring rapid and safe cleanup. Requirements Significant experience as an industrial cleaner or in a similar role. Proficiency in using heavy-duty cleaning equipment and understanding of industrial chemicals. Knowledge of OSHA or relevant local health and safety regulations. Ability to work in demanding environments, including potentially hazardous areas. Physical strength and endurance to handle strenuous tasks.
