<strong>Description<br><br></strong><strong>You have what it takes: a competitive drive coupled with exceptional sales ability.<br><br></strong>Are you a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships and making an impact in healthcare?<br><br>TSP is engaged in a direct hire search for a pharmaceutical company seeking a Hospital Specialty Representative to drive territory growth by delivering compelling product presentations and educating healthcare professionals on the value of the products features and benefits.<br><br><strong>The Successful Hospital Specialty Representative Will<br><br></strong><ul><li>Manage hospital relationship - engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand unique customer needs & priorities</li><li>Providing scientific and clinical information within the disease state area and approved product.</li><li>Delivering sales presentations of approved products to physicians, APPs, medical staff, and other appropriate clinic personnel by utilizing customer engagement selling model</li><li>Effectively utilize and manage all resources to optimize customer engagement</li><li>Collaborate effectively across a highly matrixed sales organization, partnering closely with Organized Provider Account Directors, Reimbursement Managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive aligned execution and business success.</li><li>Participation in training and development programs while abiding by all industry and corporate policies and procedures<br><br></li></ul><strong>Essential Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.</li><li>Valid driver's license.</li><li>Willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned geography, including overnight travel.</li><li>5+ years of demonstrated experience and proven sales success in pharmaceutical/medical/biotech industry.</li><li>3+ years demonstrated experience calling on hospitals and health systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of hospital decision-making processes, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.</li><li>Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.</li><li>Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Desired Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Consistent record of top-tier sales performance and proven product launch success.</li><li>Demonstrated success driving demand generation within hospitals.</li><li>Anti-Infective experience preferred.</li><li>Expertise in account selling and managing complex sales processes.</li><li>Deep knowledge of the Health Systems business model, organizational structure, key stakeholder roles and decision-making processes (P&T, formulary, etc.).</li><li>Experience engaging specialist physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, and pharmacy leadership.</li><li>Experience collaborating across hospital and community care settings.</li></ul>
