A family is looking for a HO****ME SCHOOL TEACHER for their daughter aged 15 years old in Grade 10 (high anxiety, sensory issues, processing delay, hearing issues)

Ages: daughter aged 15 years old in Grade 10 (high anxiety, sensory issues, processing delay, hearing issues)

Working hours: Monday – Friday: 14h00 – 17h00

Duties: Grade 10 student that needs tutoring and facilitating in Maths, English, Life Orientation, Afrikaans, Consumer Studies, Biology, Geography. Candidate is needing help to get ahead of her work with support of the provided curriculum to ensure there is an understanding of concepts, developing study skills and schedule for a conducive learning environment, monitor what work is being done and needs to be completed after school, supervise and assist with homework. Help the student space out her work expectations to avoid a sense of overwhelm and help structure the afternoons for academic excellence.

Candidate needs to be firm but structured as she struggles to interpret literacy and comprehension skills. Candidate needs to build her confidence.

Requirements: Patient qualified Teacher in FET Phase Teaching

Start date: ASAP start – permanent contract

Curriuclum: Turning Point – Cambrilearn, CAPS curriculum

Salary: R15 000 – R17 000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

* Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

*Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

*Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

*Must have Matric
