Graduate Trainee IT Support Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for proactive and tech-savvy graduates to join their IT department as Trainee IT Support Technicians in Soweto . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure and providing timely technical assistance to all employees. You will be involved in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network connectivity, and supporting end-users. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals. Assist in managing user accounts and access permissions within the IT infrastructure. Document technical issues and resolutions in the IT support ticketing system. Requirements A recent graduate with a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and networking concepts. Familiarity with IT support tools and ticketing systems is a plus.
