As a Protective Intelligence Analyst within the Global Security Investigations & Intelligence (GSII) team, you'll shape and build our Protective Intelligence Program. This program plays a crucial role in creating a proactive and adaptive security environment, integrating intelligence into decision-making processes and safeguarding Roblox from potential threats. You'll be our internal expert and work closely with Executive Protection, Information Security, Global Security Operations, and other teams and stakeholders to achieve these goals. In this London-based role, you'll be part of the Global Security (GS) team, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Protective Intelligence, Investigations and Threat Management.

You Have:

  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant work experience in intelligence, preferably in a protective intelligence or executive protection context.
  • Domain Knowledge: Professional experience with security protocols, risk management, threat assessment methodologies, and the intelligence cycle.
  • Technical Depth: A deep understanding of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) tools and intelligence platforms.
  • Digital Literacy: Knowledge of web-based social media platforms, search tools, productivity applications, data visualization tools, and communication technologies.

Industry Exposure: Background in social media or video game organizations, with familiarity navigating user-generated content, online communities, and platform-level risk or engagement dynamics.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities paired with excellent communication skills.
  • Independence: The ability to work effectively both in a team setting and independently.
  • Resilience: Proven adaptability to evolving threats and emerging technologies.

You Will:

  • Threat Triage & Monitoring: Triage potential threats, produce written risk assessments, monitor threat intelligence feeds, and provide analytical support to executive stakeholders as needed.
  • Strategy Support: Contribute subject-matter expertise to support strategy development and assist in building the systems and processes used to protect Roblox’s most critical assets.
  • Security System Design Support: Partner with the Security team to provide analytical input and support the design and implementation of security systems.
  • Team Formation & Impact: Join as an early member of the Protective Intelligence team, contributing to the development of foundational workflows, tooling, and practices that support platform security.
