The group operates from modern premises adjacent to its funeral services division, maintaining consistent ethical and corporate principles across all business units.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pretoria for a Front Desk Receptionist & Sales Consultant. The role involves welcoming visitors, managing the reception area, answering and directing phone calls, and handling general inquiries in a professional and compassionate manner.
Daily tasks include scheduling appointments, maintaining records, performing basic clerical duties, and supporting internal communication between funeral and financial services teams. The role also includes assisting with sales of funeral and financial products, providing customers with clear information, and processing documentation accurately. The successful candidate will ensure a respectful, organized, and supportive front-of-house experience for clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Candidates MUST be fluent in Afrikaans.
- Candidates should possess strong Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties skills to manage calls and greet visitors professionally.
- Candidates should possess solid Clerical Skills, including basic administration, filing, data entry, and appointment scheduling.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact empathetically with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
- Relevant experience in a reception, front desk, or client-facing role, preferably in services, healthcare, or financial environments.
- Ability to remain calm, respectful, and discrete when dealing with sensitive situations and confidential information.
- Proficiency with office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets) and comfort working with telephone and office equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organized, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Completion of secondary education; additional training in administration, customer service, or sales is beneficial.
