About the Role Our client, a respected manufacturer and distributor of innovative medical devices, is seeking a professional and driven Field Sales Consultant to join their dedicated team. This role will focus on servicing healthcare professionals and institutions in the Queenstown, Eastern Cape region. You will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of advanced medical products, building strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, and clinics, and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities Promote and sell a portfolio of medical devices to healthcare professionals and institutions within the assigned territory. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals, clinics, and private practices. Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical information and training to users. Achieve and exceed sales targets for the region through effective territory planning and sales execution. Stay abreast of the latest developments in medical technology and the company's product lines. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate target accounts. Collaborate with the marketing team on regional initiatives and gather market intelligence. Manage sales administration, including reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with a strong preference for experience in medical device sales or the healthcare industry. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment. Excellent understanding of medical terminology and healthcare settings. Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with medical professionals. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the Queenstown, Eastern Cape area.
