About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all maintenance operations at their corporate campus in Pretoria . This role involves managing a team of maintenance staff, ensuring the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment, and implementing efficient maintenance strategies. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for employees and visitors. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and schedule a team of maintenance personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring performance. Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components. Oversee repair and maintenance work, ensuring it is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Manage vendor relationships and contractor performance for specialized maintenance or repair services. Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, budgets, and inventory of supplies and equipment. Requirements Proven experience in facilities management or a similar supervisory role. Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. Experience managing a team and coordinating diverse maintenance tasks.
