Evening Home Care Assistant

Purely Care is looking for a part time Evening Home Care Assistant who can provide exceptional care and support to elderly and disabled people in their own homes. The role is based in Norwich. No formal experience is required because full training will be provided.

As a registered care provider, we provide care 7 days each week between the hours of 7am-10:30pm.

This vacancy is to provide support in the evenings, between the hours of 4pm-10:30pm or 6pm-10:30pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Evening Home Care AssistantDuties

Each client has their own individual care plan but duties for our Evening Home Care Assistant are likely to include:

  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as washing and changing clothes
  • Assisting with toileting
  • Administering medication
  • Food preparation and feeding if needed
  • Light housework and laundry

Our customers also value companionship. Getting to know people and chatting about their day really does make a difference.

Your passion for care, friendly disposition and interest in others are the top requirements for this role. We do care in the community, so staff do a short call in one house and then travel to the next house. Your own transport is essential.
