PR & Digital Content Writer – Office Based

Our long-standing B2B niche agency Client are an integrated I ndustrial Marketing Agency in Fourways looking for an experienced writer.

Beyond being a talented copywriter, the ideal candidate should have a strong working knowledge of content marketing, social media, public relations and design. Your passion for writing will assist in the generation of press releases, content for websites, newsletters, emailers, blog posts, adverts and brochures.

You will be working closely with the creative team and account managers, working from concept all the way through to production.

*NB: You will be required to complete a copy test in order to progress to an interview.

Responsibilities:

· Work with the creative and account services teams to determine the copy direction for content and writing projects

· Generate web content in line with current SEO strategies

· Interview clients and write application stories / case studies / press releases

· Generate suitable, newsworthy content from white papers

· Create creative copy for print and digital adverts and banners

· Work to tight deadlines and thrive under pressure

· Ensure copy meets client brand guidelines

Requirements:

· A degree or diploma in Copywriting / Journalism / English / Media Studies (or related fields)

· Minimum of five years’ copywriting experience in a PR and/or Digital agency

· Strong conceptual and writing skills with a comprehensive knowledge of the digital landscape

· Ability to create concepts and copy that delivers on creative briefs and aligns to business goals

· Impeccable grammar and spelling

· The ability to transform business to business (industrial) information into engaging and topical copy

Personal Skills / Attributes:

· An extraordinary grasp of the English language

· Be flexible to different writing styles

· Attention to detail

· Thick skin and ability to take criticism

· Team player and positive attitude is non-negotiable

· Commitment to succeeding for our clients
