We're looking for a Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist to join a dynamic team in Jo'Burg North. This is a hands-on role covering digital marketing, social media, content, paid media, SEO and analytics . Detail: 💻 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Execute and optimise digital campaigns across websites, social media, Google Ads, email and content channels Manage official social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn Plan, create, schedule and publish engaging, brand-aligned content Manage website content through a CMS , ensuring accurate, engaging and SEO-friendly content Monitor website functionality, user experience and digital enquiry journeys Manage and optimise Google Search, Display, Performance Max, remarketing, SEO and SEM campaigns Monitor paid media budgets, conversions and ROI, identifying opportunities to improve campaign efficiency Manage online communities, comments, enquiries, reviews and online reputation Quality-check social media pages and provide guidance to ensure consistent brand standards Write compelling copy for websites, social media, emailers and digital campaigns Create basic digital assets using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite Maintain content calendars, campaign messaging and digital asset libraries Monitor website, social media and paid media performance using GA4 and platform analytics Analyse user behaviour, lead trends, campaign results and digital funnel performance Prepare monthly digital performance reports with clear insights and recommendations Benchmark performance against competitors and market trends Work with agencies, suppliers and internal stakeholders on photography, video, design and digital projects Continuously identify ways to improve campaigns, content, website journeys and lead generation 🎯 WHAT YOU'LL NEED Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Media Studies or a related field 3–5 years' practical digital marketing experience , ideally within a multi-brand or lead-generation environment Hands-on experience with CMS, SEO, SEM, Google Ads and conversion tracking Proven experience managing business social media platforms and content calendars Strong understanding of GA4, digital analytics and performance reporting Strong copywriting, proofreading and brand governance skills Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite Experience with email marketing and exposure to CRM/lead management systems Ability to work effectively with agencies, suppliers and internal stakeholders A basic understanding of the hospitality industry or tertiary market would be advantageous 📍 Jo'Burg North If you're creative, commercially minded and passionate about digital, content and brand building , this could be your next move!
