Debtors Supervisor | Automotive Retail Industry

A well-established and rapidly expanding automotive retail group, with a national footprint across multiple provinces and a diverse portfolio of leading vehicle brands, is seeking an experienced Debtors Supervisor to join its finance team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong debtors management experience and proven leadership skills to contribute to a high-performing and fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate weekly and monthly debtor reporting
  • Manage and administer credit applications
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Prepare and review monthly debtor reconciliations
  • Oversee the debt collection process and account recoveries
  • Process settlement discounts where applicable
  • Liaise with fleet merchants and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Oversee general administration and filing functions
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Debtors Clerks

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant finance or accounting qualification
  • Proven debtors experience within a supervisory capacity
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
