Key Responsibilities Handle inbound calls with professionalism and poise, engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of American Express products and services, including our Small Business Services (SBS) offerings. Communicate effectively with clients, clearly articulating the features, benefits, and value proposition of our products and services. Build strong relationships with clients through active listening, consultative selling, and issue resolution. Continuously develop and refine your sales skills, including building rapport, handling objections, and closing deals. Provide exceptional customer care by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Maintain accurate records and report relevant account information in accordance with established policies and procedures. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines related to servicing and sales practices. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Customer Care Professional at American Express, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. At least 2 years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of building client loyalty through excellent listening, consultative relationship building, and strong written and verbal communication. Demonstrated success in a customer service and sales environment, with a strong ability to work in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment. Excellent multitasking and navigation skills in an online environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
