Salary: R 67.35/hr (base pay) + R 27.50/hr (language bonus) = R 94.70 per hour

What will you do as a Communities Moderator?

This role involves moderating customer reviews and responding to email queries in both Swedish and English, while meeting or exceeding quality and productivity goals set by management. The position requires clear, polite communication, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor, and following company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of departmental resources, use customer service tools effectively, escalate issues appropriately, and proactively communicate trends to management.

The role emphasizes timely, accurate, and professional customer service, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations and going above and beyond assigned duties.

What are your hours?

This role requires working variable hours to match when customers need us most. You will work day /late shifts (shift - earliest start time with be 05:00am and latest end time will be 22:00 pm) and your work week is minimum 40 hours, for example: 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts or 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts. To meet our customer demand, we schedule based on a variety of different shift patterns operating within Sunday to Monday.

You will receive your work schedule at least 2 weeks in advance and your shifts may change every couple of months. You may be required to work national holidays and will be compensated accordingly. You will learn more about your exact schedule closer to your start date.

What qualifications do we need from you?

  • Minimum age: 18 years old
  • Have the right to work in South Africa
  • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English (Written at minimum B2 level)
  • We require candidates to have completed an NQF Level 4 qualification or a Grade 12 qualification or higher.
  • Experience working a desktop computer and navigating multiple software systems
  • The availability to work varying shifts from Monday to Sunday operating within 24 hours
  • Willingness and ability to work in rotating shifts (i.e., early, late, overnight, weekend, and overtime as required)
  • You'll need a quiet, distraction free work space (dedicated office space with a desk and chair)
  • From a technical perspective, a Fibre connection with a minimum 20/20Mbps upload and download speeds. Note that (ADSL/LTE/WIFI/AirFiber) lines are not eligible for this role.
