About the Role

Our client is recruiting a Customer-Focused Delivery Specialist to be a key player in their distribution network based in Tembisa . This position involves not only driving but also ensuring a positive customer experience at the point of delivery. You will be responsible for the smooth execution of delivery schedules, upholding the company's standards for service quality and reliability. This role is ideal for an individual who is energetic, customer-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills, ready to contribute to a dynamic team environment and build strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities Execute deliveries according to a predetermined schedule, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the Tembisa area. Inspect vehicles for defects and ensure basic maintenance, reporting any issues immediately. Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally during delivery interactions. Verify delivery contents against order manifests and obtain necessary client acknowledgments. Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and ensure all cargo is secured properly. Requirements A valid driver's license (Code 10 preferred) and a history of safe driving. Demonstrated experience in customer service or a delivery-related role. Good knowledge of geographical routes within and around Tembisa . Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing delivery demands.
