About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and meticulous Content Writer & Editor to join their in-office marketing team in Vereeniging . This role is crucial for developing clear, concise, and engaging written content across various platforms, ensuring brand consistency and accuracy in all communications. You will be responsible for crafting everything from website copy and blog posts to marketing materials and internal documents. The ideal candidate possesses a strong command of language, an eye for detail, and the ability to adapt their writing style to suit different audiences and objectives within a collaborative office setting.

Key Responsibilities Write, edit, and proofread a variety of content, including website copy, blog posts, articles, press releases, marketing collateral, and social media updates. Ensure all content is grammatically correct, well-structured, engaging, and adheres to brand guidelines and style manuals. Conduct research on industry-related topics to generate fresh content ideas and stay informed about relevant trends. Collaborate with the marketing, design, and product teams to develop content strategies and ensure alignment with business goals. Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and organic traffic. Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all written materials. Requirements Proven experience as a Content Writer , Copywriter, or Editor, with a strong portfolio of published work. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Proficiency in conducting research and synthesizing information into clear, coherent content. Understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to written content. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
