Job Description:

To plan, develop and implement brand Public Relations and Content in conjunction with Group Head of Marketing. To research and regularly liaise with internal and external parties, locally and globally, with the objective of identifying and creating content and thought leadership articles for brand social content, and for external and internal communications. To draft press-releases, articles, newsletters, and case-studies as well as content for various digital channels such as email, websites, blogs, social media and distribute accordingly.

To champion internal enterprise-wide communications and communication channels. Oversee internal communications plans to ensure full awareness and connectedness across the company and its strategic partners. To manage, assist and oversee all content activities across multiple brands within the Adcorp Group and take responsibility for all digital marketing channels within the Group.

Necessary tertiary qualification is essential with 3-5 years' experience in a similar role with in the FMC, Insurance, Telecommunications or banking industry.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in content development, journalism, communications, public relations, or content marketing.
  • Public Relations agency experience involving media relations, thought leadership writing, guest article placement, and media pitching OR Newsroom / publishing experience
  • Demonstrated experience writing for executive, corporate, or B2B audiences.
  • Experience interviewing subject matter experts and senior leaders.
  • Portfolio of published articles, thought leadership pieces, or business content.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, English, Media Studies, or a related field.

Primary RESPONSIBILTIES

Thought Leadership & Executive Profiling
  • Develop and execute thought leadership content strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Interview executives, subject matter experts, clients, and industry leaders to create compelling content.
  • Produce high-quality articles, opinion pieces, executive profiles, whitepapers, case studies, and industry commentary.
  • Position business leaders as recognised voices within their respective industries.
  • Identify relevant industry trends, market developments, and news opportunities for commentary.
Content Development
  • Research, write, edit, and proofread content across multiple formats and channels.
  • Produce articles, blogs, website content, newsletters, campaign copy, social media content, and customer communications.
  • Translate complex business concepts into clear, engaging, and commercially relevant content.
  • Maintain consistent brand tone and messaging across all communications.
SEO & Digital Content
  • Create SEO-optimised content that improves search visibility and organic traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research in collaboration with digital marketing teams.
  • Develop content that supports Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), AI search visibility, and traditional SEO objectives.
  • Monitor content performance and recommend optimisation opportunities.
Public Relations Support
  • Work closely with external PR agencies to identify media opportunities and content requirements.
  • Draft press releases, media statements, award submissions, and executive commentary.
  • Support media relations activities through the development of supporting content and briefing materials.
  • Assist with reputation management and crisis communications when required
Internal Communications Support
  • Develop internal communications content that supports organisational initiatives and culture-building programmes.
  • Create executive messages, leadership updates, employee newsletters, and change communication materials.
  • Ensure messaging is aligned and consistent across internal and external audiences
Research and Industrial Intelligence
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, competitor activity, and emerging topics.
  • Identify opportunities for reactive content and thought leadership positioning.
  • Gather and analyse information from credible sources to strengthen content quality and relevance.
Content Governance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all content meets editorial, legal, and brand standards.
  • Maintain editorial calendars and content pipelines.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior content writers, interns, or communications coordinators.
  • Establish and maintain editorial best practices across the marketing function

  • Help establish effective structures, systems, competencies, and values for surpassing internal communications team objectives.
  • Deploy content strategies to enhance online traffic to Brand websites.
  • Communicate the external & internal communication strategy to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Take part in reviewing and refining internal communication strategies and plans.
  • Play an integral role in the strategic communication strategies for all brands.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, suggesting innovative internal and External communication approaches and content pieces.
  • Manage internal and external communication output effectively across out brand
  • Evaluate and present outcomes of internal and external communication initiatives.
  • Develop and execute communication plans for key strategic business projects.
  • Lead employee campaigns as the communication focal point.
  • Offer communication guidance and counsel for campaigns across the brands.
  • Ensure uniform messaging across all communication materials.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficient spelling and grammar.
  • Deliver precise and timely communications.
  • Collaborate on brochures, pamphlets, and other communication materials.
  • Draft press releases, articles, newsletters, case studies, and content for digital channels
  • Cultivate relationships with the media, building strong contacts for brands exposure.
  • Monitor publicity and conduct ongoing research for new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic PR plans, utilizing media coverage and insights.
  • Establish strong relationships with key reporters, fostering impactful coverage and promoting Amazon’s reputation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, including influencers and media personalities.
