Contexte et environnement Market in which the position operates : The position operates in an extremely regulated market with attention required for changing legislation and practices as prescribed by various Associations Typology of contacts related to the positio n : Internal & external Stakeholders connected to the position : External parties including but not limited to: Consultation and active participation with pension fund administrators Consultation and active participation with provident fund administrators Consultation and active participation with Unions Consultation with external Auditors Contacts related to the position : Level 2: level 1 + The position requires the ability to influence and convince Reflection horizon of the position : Medium-term (1-3 years) Time horizon for the position's reflection : Creation of new solutions to problems encountered Activités Compensation And Benefits Oversee employee compensation and benefits, compensation databases, benchmark compensation and annual performance reviews To design, develop, implement and manage salary, bonus and benefits packages for the employees To evaluate and modify existing compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures To ensure all programs, policies, and procedures comply with current legislation. Design a compensation package based on business goals and strategy Create a consistent compensation guideline that matches our work and organizational culture Create and analyze job descriptions evaluations and classifications Conduct salary and labor market research to define benchmarks Apply effective communication strategies Assess employees needs by conducting organizational surveys Keep abreast with new trend and best practice in the filed Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations Conduct periodic audits, prepare and present reports Participate in Korn Ferry Salary Surveys to ensure that market benchmarking is available and perform ad hoc projects Coordinate the annual remuneration review process Provide support in the allocation of Annual Salary Increases & bonus for Total South Africa including NBE Customer Service To review processes, identify areas of improvement and recommend changes that will increase accuracy and efficiency To seek to improve operations, and decrease turnaround times, to enhance customer service. To measure the cycle time it takes to resolve payroll problems and respond to queries. To carry out customer satisfaction surveys to measure service delivery Personnel Cost Planning – to prepare and advise on personnel salary budget To review personnel costs on a monthly basis to assist with management and control of the Company salary budget To consult with Financial Control in the preparation and presentation of the Annual Budget and Long-Term Plan. To receive and analyze personnel costs per department To run and test various cost scenarios in respect of bonus and annual increases according to parameters set by Executive Management and approved by the Remuneration Committee. To assist in the monitoring of the Human Resources departments budget Prepare annual Group BPP file and HR Divers report To prepare a variety of periodic and specialized reports and any other written reports related to the HR budget. HSEQ - To observe and apply relevant policies and procedures in the performance of work. Profil du candidat To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competenci es Qualification level required for the position : Level 6 = Bachelor’s or equivalent level Technical skills required for the position: The ability to exercise an exceptional focus to detail and still expedite processes to meet deadlines, ability to show and practice a high level of confidentiality and trustworthiness, good analytical and problem solving, good interpersonal, communication skills and an ability to collaborate with others to achieve desired business results, ability to identify and resolve conflict and problems, a high orientation towards customer service. Behavioral competencies required for the position : Communication and negotiation to liaise with stakeholders, analytical andproblem-solving skills to analyze data and design programs, and leadership and empathy to manage their stakeholders and handle sensitive employee situations. Certification required for the position : Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, psychology, or a related field. Specific knowledge required for the position : Extensive knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation. Thorough knowledge of compensation & benefits principles, practices, regulations, policies and procedures as well as relevant legislation for South Africa, Eswatini and Namibia.
