Company Driver / Pet Handler

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and compassionate Company Driver / Pet Handler who will assist with the safe transportation, handling, and care of pets while providing professional and respectful service to our clients. This role involves driving company vehicles, handling both living and deceased pets, assisting with pet aftercare procedures, and delivering pet remains and mementos to clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely pick up and transport pets from clients' homes, veterinary clinics, and partner facilities

  • Handle pets, including deceased pets, with care, dignity, and respect

  • Properly identify, secure, load, unload, and transfer pets

  • Assist in preparing pets for viewing, including gentle cleaning, wiping, brushing, and proper positioning

  • Assist in preparing and transferring pets for aquamation following the Company procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pet-handling areas, equipment, and materials

  • Immediately report any incident or unusual condition involving a pet

  • Deal with grieving pet owners and their families with empathy, courtesy, and professionalism

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully during pickups and deliveries

  • Maintain client privacy and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Philippine Driver's License

  • Must be able to drive both cars and motorcycles

  • Familiar with Metro Manila routes and comfortable using navigation apps such as Waze or Google Maps

  • Responsible, punctual, trustworthy, and safety-conscious

  • Physically capable of safely handling and transferring pets of different sizes

  • Comfortable handling deceased pets as part of the job

  • Compassionate and respectful when interacting with grieving pet owners

  • Willing to assist with pet preparation, cleaning, sanitation, and other operational duties

  • Willing to work flexible hours when operationally required

  • Previous experience as a company driver, delivery driver, veterinary assistant, pet handler, or similar role is an advantage but not required
