Co-Ordinator Marketing

This role supports the Senior Integrated Lead: Hypermarket in delivering corporate customer events, Hypermarket-owned headline campaigns, and the day-to-day execution of Hypermarket marketing and advertising. The role is execution focused and requires strong coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Marketing or related qualification

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing coordination, brand, or campaign support role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support delivery of Corporate Customer Event Headlines across Pick n Pay Supermarket, Hypermarket, Pick n Pay asap! and Pick n Pay Liquor, when Hypermarket is lead or impacted (e.g. Easter, Black Friday, Pick n Pay Birthday, Winter, Festive, Back to School).

Support Hypermarket-owned customer events and campaigns including Hypermania, Gigantic Hyper Sale, bespoke Hypermarket brand campaigns, and store-specific initiatives (openings, revamps, ICU, regional activity).

Manage the day-to-day execution of Hypermarket marketing and advertising campaigns, including support of the Hypermarket Trade Plan.

Assist with Integrated Marketing Briefs (IMB), RMS Plus inputs, paginations, campaign trackers, and T-minus governance (paginations submitted on time; lines submitted to deadline).

Coordinate asset development and sign-off across TV, Radio, Print, POS, Digital, Social Media, Weekly Mailers and OOH.

Support campaign roll-out, ensuring correct in-store POS execution and consolidation of execution images.

Support Hypermarket Digital Social Media and Weekly Mailer content planning.

Manage the planning and execution of the Hypermarket Entertainment value proposition, including supplier engagement, budget management, rollout and post-campaign analysis.

Support campaign reporting, post-campaign analysis, and weekly competitor and store reviews to identify trends and tactical opportunities.

Coordinate stakeholders, timelines, feedback, documentation, meeting actions and presentations.

Assist with campaign budget tracking and ensure cost approvals are secured prior to spend commitment.
