Role Summary The successful candidates will be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients. The Registered Nurses will be responsible for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs in the casualty emergency system and trauma accreditation process. The Registered Nurses will act as a role model in the delivery of evidence-based care. The registered Nurses will actively participate in Clinical Governance. Skills Profile Education Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification. Registered as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification Clinical Nurse (R/N) – Post Basic Qualified (6 Months) Inherent Requirements Work Experience 2-5 years’ experience in Emergency department. Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation. Thorough knowledge of general / specialized nursing theory and practice. Extensive knowledge of modern nursing care principles and practices.
