Job Purpose

To ensure accurate safe and compliant warehouse operations by verifying picked and received stock maintaining product integrity and traceability supporting effective stock control and enforcing health safety food safety and housekeeping standards in line with Premier FMCG policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Accuracy of Stock Handling by: Verifying the accuracy of all picked received loaded and staged stock by checking quantities batch numbers best-before dates pallet conditions and documentation to prevent errors losses and customer claims.
  • Maintain Stock Control and Inventory Accuracy by: Supporting effective stock management by updating bin cards participating in stock counts and daily cycle counts and ensuring full traceability and alignment between physical stock and system records.
  • Maintain Housekeeping and Audit Readiness by: Promoting and maintaining Premier FMCG housekeeping and clean-as-you-go standards to ensure a safe organised and audit-ready warehouse environment.
  • Support Team Performance and Operational Compliance by: Supporting team adherence to operational HR and Invocom requirements including time and attendance equipment inspections continuous improvement initiatives and achievement of daily targets.
  • Reduce Warehouse Damage and Losses by: Identifying record report and manage damaged stock and pallets in line with procedures ensuring correct repacking disposal accountability and photographic evidence where required.
  • Ensure Health Safety and Food Safety Compliance by: Adhering to and enforce occupational health and safety SHE and food safety standards including allergen control stock rotation stacking height limits and hygiene requirements.
  • Ensure Documentation and Traceability Compliance by: Ensuring all inbound and outbound documentation picking slips receiving documents loading records and CHEP pallet transactions are completed accurately signed off and processed timeously.
