Carpenter (Red Seal )

Introduction

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a qualified and experienced Red Seal Carpenter to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial structures while ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other building materials.
  • Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, cabinets, and concrete forms.
  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes and company standards.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow all occupational health and safety regulations.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Valid Red Seal Carpenter Trade Certificate (required).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of carpentry experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Proficient in the use of carpentry tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).
