About the role

YWA HUMAN RESOURCE CORPORATION is seeking a Customer Service Representative specialising in Insurance Accounts to join our dynamic call centre team. This is a full-time position based at our state-of-the-art facility in Mall of Asia, Pasay City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be the frontline of our insurance operations, providing exceptional customer service to clients whilst handling account inquiries, policy information, claims support and general assistance. This position is crucial to maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer care and building long-term client relationships. No prior BPO experience is required for this opportunity, making it ideal for candidates looking to start or develop their customer service career.

Key responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative for Insurance Accounts, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls from insurance customers in a professional and courteous manner

  • Providing accurate information regarding insurance policies, coverage options and premium details

  • Processing policy inquiries, updates and modifications whilst ensuring compliance with company procedures

  • Assisting customers with claims-related questions and guiding them through the claims process

  • Documenting customer interactions accurately and thoroughly in the company system

  • Resolving customer issues and concerns promptly whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics including call handling time, quality standards and customer satisfaction targets

  • Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to identify and implement process improvements

  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies at all times

What we're looking for

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification at minimum

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Filipino is advantageous

  • Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to help customers

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer interactions efficiently

  • Patience and empathy when dealing with customer concerns and complaints

  • Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to learn new software applications quickly

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting customer information

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets consistently

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure

  • Prior customer service experience is preferred but not essential; we welcome entry-level candidates

  • No prior BPO experience required; comprehensive training will be provided
