About the Role

Our client is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to serve the public transit system in Pretoria . You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers along designated routes, adhering to strict schedules, and providing a positive experience for commuters. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to passenger safety, and strong interpersonal abilities to interact courteously with the public. Key Responsibilities Operate a public transit bus safely and efficiently along scheduled routes within Pretoria . Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times, responding calmly and professionally to any situation. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company regulations, and driving schedules. Perform daily inspections of the bus, reporting any mechanical issues or required maintenance. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing information and directions as needed. Requirements Valid Professional Driver's Permit (PDP) for passenger transport. A clean driving record with no serious infractions. Proven experience operating large passenger vehicles, preferably buses. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
