About the Role
Our client provides high-quality outsourced accounting and CFO services to growing
businesses, priding themselves on delivering accurate, reliable financial information that helps
our clients make informed business decisions. As they continue to grow, they're looking for a
detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join the team.
This position will begin with responsibility for one or two client accounts, requiring approximately
10 hours per month, gradually taking ownership of additional accounts, with the opportunity to
manage around 10 client accounts and transition into a full-time position.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and committed to producing
high-quality, audit-ready financial records every month.

Key Responsibilities
● Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for assigned client accounts.
● Record and reconcile financial transactions using QuickBooks.
● Perform month-end close procedures.
● Prepare and maintain audit-ready financial files and supporting documentation each month.
● Ensure financial records comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
● Manage accrual-based accounting and journal entries.
● Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
● Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.
● Work closely with the Business CFO for Hire team to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
● Provide clear and professional communication with internal teams and clients when required.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years accounting/ bookkeeping experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Proven experience with QuickBooks Online.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with accrual accounting.
  • Previous bookkeeping experience for multiple businesses or clients.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work during Eastern Standard/Eastern Time (EST/ET) business hours.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work environment.
