Band Leader Party Band

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Party Band, including musicians, singers, and other performers
  • Create and maintain a fun and energetic atmosphere for guests onboard the cruise ship
  • Collaborate with other entertainment staff to plan and execute performances and events
  • Rehearse with the band regularly to ensure high-quality performances
  • Select and arrange music repertoire for the band
  • Communicate with cruise ship staff to coordinate performance schedules and logistics
  • Maintain and update equipment and instruments used by the band
  • Provide guidance and support to band members to improve their skills and performance
  • Ensure the band follows all safety and security protocols on board

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a band leader or similar role
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent musical abilities and knowledge of various music genres
  • Experience performing in a party band setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing performance schedules and demands
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
