Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Sales & Call Center Representative role based in the City of Johannesburg. The representative will handle inbound and outbound customer calls, respond to inquiries about new and pre-owned vehicles, services, parts, and finance options, and schedule test drives and service appointments.

Daily responsibilities include providing product information, guiding customers through the sales process, updating customer records in dealership systems, and following up on leads to support sales targets. The role also involves coordinating with the sales and service teams, maintaining a professional telephone manner, and ensuring prompt, accurate responses to customer questions to support overall customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

  • Customer-facing skills: ability to work effectively in Customer Service Representative or Customer Support roles, with a strong focus on Customer Satisfaction.
  • People skills: strong Interpersonal Skills to build rapport, handle objections professionally, and communicate clearly with a diverse customer base.
  • Technical skills: solid Computer Literacy, including use of CRM systems, email, and basic office software to manage customer records and communicate efficiently.
  • Relevant experience in automotive sales, call center operations, or retail customer service is highly beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional local languages are an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Matric or equivalent qualification preferred; further training in sales or customer service is an advantage.
