A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children

Duties: Collect from school, transport her to and from extra murals, playdates, outings and appointments, prepare healthy snacks and simple meals, engage her in educational activities, reading, creative play and outdoor activities, encourage her social and emotional development, ensure her belongings are packed and ready for the following day, assist with simple meal preparation for the family, and keep parents updated on her day and wellbeing. The family may also require occasional travel with prior notice.
Special Requirements: The family is looking for a warm, nurturing and proactive Au Pair who will build a genuine, long term bond with their daughter and become a consistent, caring presence in her life. The ideal candidate should genuinely enjoy spending time with young children, take initiative, be patient, energetic, organised and reliable, and have experience caring for children aged 3-5 years. An Early Childhood qualification, teaching or au pair experience and First Aid certification would be advantageous. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and safe driving record are essential. The candidate must also be comfortable around a young Golden Retriever.
Start Date & Contract Term: ASAP - Permanent
Salary: R12 000 - R15 000pm - depending on experience and any qualifications (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)
