What You’ll Do- Implement Human Resource Development strategies tailored to departmental needs.
- Conduct skills audits and training needs analyses to identify critical skills gaps.
- Develop and maintain the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR).
- Facilitate and coordinate Orientation and Induction programmes for new employees.
- Promote career development and manage talent effectively within the department.
- Liaise with stakeholders and coordinate meetings for the Skills Development Committee (SDC).
- Manage compliance related to Skills Development initiatives and training evaluations.
- Oversee Learning and Development Programs, including mandatory training and leadership development.
- Compile governance reports and maintain accurate training records.
- A Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) combined with a National Diploma in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 6 with 360 credits.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Skills Development and Training coordination, with at least one (1) year in a supervisory role.
- A valid driver’s license and additional qualifications such as a Skills Development Facilitator certificate and Train the Trainer certificate are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the National Skills Development Strategy and Public Finance Management Act.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, along with project management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a keen attention to detail.
