<p><strong>Assembly Operative <br /> Leicester, LE4 <br /> £13.00 Per Hour<br /></strong><br />We are currently supporting our client based in Leicester, LE4 to recruit an Assembly Operative.</p> <p>This is a temp to perm opportunity, with a permanent contract being offered after a success 13 week period.</p> <p>This is an opportunity to work for a very established engineering company, who pride themselves on high quality production and manufacture of their products.</p> <p>The role is assemble products to a high standard.<br /> <br /><strong>Days & Hours of Work: </strong><br />Monday – Thursday 06:00am – 14:30pm<br />Friday 06:00am – 11:30am</p> <p>Total Hours: 37.5hrs per week<br /> <br /><strong>Rate of Pay: </strong>£13.00 Per Hour<br /> <br /><strong>The Role: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Assemble products or components according to the technical drawings, work instructions, or specifications (SOPs)</li> <li>Perform repetitive tasks to assemble components or products at respective workstations</li> <li>Operative hand tools, power tools and machinery safely and effectively</li> <li>Inspect the finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards</li> <li>Maintain a clean and organised work space</li> <li>Report any faults to supervisors promptly</li> <li>Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production KPI targets</li> </ul> <p> <br /><strong>About You:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in manufacturing or an assembly environment</li> <li>Good manual dexterity and attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret technical documents or diagrams</li> <li>Excellent level of written and spoken English</li> <li>Computer literate</li> <li>Hard-working and reliable</li> <li>Able to work as part of a team</li> <li>Willingness to adapt and learn new processes</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong><br /><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Permanent role offered after successful 13 weeks – based on performance and attendance.</li> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>On- the-job training and career development</li> <li>Company pension scheme</li> <li>PPE provided</li> </ul>
