The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the operational integrity of a diverse range of mechanical assets, ensuring seamless production processes. Purpose of Job To support production by providing effective equipment maintenance and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes, and utilizing all available support resources to increase stability and maintain sustainability of the plant and/or equipment. Key Accountabilities Daily Plant Preventative Inspection: Conducts thorough daily preventative inspections of plant machinery and equipment to identify potential issues early, ensuring proactive maintenance and minimising unexpected downtime. Planning Own Tasks: Takes initiative in planning and organising daily maintenance tasks, prioritising work based on operational needs and safety requirements, and ensuring efficient use of time and resources. Preventative and Repair Maintenance: Performs both preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on plant equipment, strictly adhering to safety regulations, work instructions, and quality procedures to ensure optimal performance and longevity of assets. Conducting Fault Finding: Utilises advanced diagnostic skills to conduct effective fault finding on complex mechanical equipment, accurately identifying root causes of malfunctions and implementing precise corrective actions. Initiating Proactive Maintenance: Actively identifies opportunities for proactive maintenance strategies, suggesting and implementing improvements that enhance equipment reliability and reduce the likelihood of future breakdowns. Standby and Overtime Readiness: Must be available for standby duties and willing to work overtime as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to ensuring continuous plant operation and responding to urgent maintenance needs.
