About the role

We're looking for a confident and resilient Appointment Setter to join our growing team. If you're comfortable making outbound calls, following a proven script, and booking qualified appointments, this could be an excellent opportunity.

This is a high-volume outbound calling role. You'll contact homeowners who already have an existing solar system to schedule a free system check-up with one of our field representatives. You won't be responsible for selling products or closing deals—your focus is on engaging homeowners, overcoming common objections, and scheduling quality appointments.

Success in this role comes from consistency, professionalism, and maintaining a positive attitude throughout the day.

What You'll Do

  • Make high-volume outbound calls using a browser-based dialer.
  • Contact homeowners from company-provided lead lists (no prospecting required).
  • Follow a proven call script while maintaining a natural, conversational tone.
  • Schedule qualified appointments for field representatives.
  • Ask a few qualifying questions during the booking process.
  • Clearly explain what homeowners can expect during their appointment.
  • Accurately log call outcomes, notes, and dispositions in company systems.
  • Immediately process do-not-call requests and follow compliance guidelines.
  • Meet daily dialing and appointment goals while maintaining appointment quality.
What We're Looking For
  • At least 2-3 years of outbound appointment setting, telesales, lead qualification, or call center experience.
  • Fluent English with clear, professional communication.
  • Comfortable speaking with people on the phone for most of the workday.
  • Ability to confidently follow a script while sounding natural.
  • Strong objection-handling skills.
  • Resilient and motivated—you stay positive despite hearing "no" frequently.
  • Highly coachable and able to implement feedback quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate CRM documentation.
  • Excellent time management and self-discipline while working remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in solar, home improvement, home services, or similar industries.
  • Experience using CRM systems and browser-based dialers.
  • Previous success in performance-based appointment setting roles.
Remote Work Requirements
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Quiet, professional workspace free from background noise.
  • Quality USB headset.
  • Computer capable of running browser-based dialing and scheduling software.
  • Backup internet solution (such as a mobile hotspot) is strongly preferred.
Performance Expectations

Successful team members consistently

  • Make approximately 50–60 outbound calls per hour.
  • Schedule 8–12 qualified appointments per day.
  • Maintain a high appointment show rate through quality scheduling and clear communication.
This is a metrics-driven role where consistency, professionalism, and quality appointments are recognized and rewarded. Why Join Us?
  • Fully remote position.
  • Company-provided leads—no prospecting required.
  • Proven scripts and ongoing coaching.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth.
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives/commissions
  • Continuous training and career development opportunities
  • Supportive, collaborative, and goal-oriented work culture
  • Long-term remote role with room for professional growth
If you're an energetic communicator who enjoys talking with people, thrives in a goal-oriented environment, and wants to be rewarded for your performance, we'd love to hear from you. Pay: R82,00 - R115,00 per hour
