Amazon Advertising / Retail Media Manager Location:100% Remote (Open Worldwide)Contract Type:Independent Contractor AgreementCompensation:$2.000 - $5.000 Usd Monthly  Based on Experience About the Role We are seeking a highly skilledAmazon Advertising / Retail Media Managerto take full ownership of our Amazon advertising function and bring it in-house. This is a critical, high-impact role focused on replacing external agency support with a dedicated expert who can drive performance, efficiency, and long-term growth. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing large-scale Amazon advertising campaigns across a diverse product catalog, while aligning closely with broader business objectives such as inventory planning, pricing, and promotions. Key Responsibilities Campaign Strategy & Execution * Build and manage full-funnel Amazon advertising strategies across a catalog of 50+ SKUs * Structure campaigns effectively, including keyword segmentation, match type allocation, and campaign hierarchy across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display * Adapt campaign structures and strategies based on platform differences (Vendor Central vs. Seller Central) * Continuously optimize campaigns to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency Search Term & Keyword Management * Conduct ongoing search term harvesting to identify new keyword opportunities * Implement and maintain robust negative keyword strategies to reduce waste and prevent campaign cannibalization * Establish clear thresholds and performance benchmarks to guide optimization decisions * Regularly audit and refine keyword structures to maximize relevance and return Budget Management & Performance Optimization * Manage and allocate significant monthly advertising budgets across multiple campaign types * Monitor key performance metrics such as ACOS, TACOS, and ROAS, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders * Make data-driven decisions on budget reallocation to maximize return and support growth objectives * Identify scaling opportunities while maintaining efficiency targets Ranking Strategy & Product Lifecycle Management * Develop tailored advertising strategies for new product launches versus established ASINs * Support organic ranking improvements through strategic paid media efforts * Align advertising initiatives with broader catalog growth and lifecycle strategies Retail & Cross-Functional Alignment * Collaborate with internal teams to align advertising with inventory levels, pricing strategies, and promotional calendars * Provide insights that inform retail decisions, ensuring advertising supports overall business performance * Coordinate closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution across all channels Systems & Process Development * Build and document scalable processes, workflows, and best practices for in-house advertising operations * Analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies * Continuously test, learn, and implement improvements across campaigns and systems Qualifications & Requirements * Proven experience managing Amazon advertising for CPG or multi-SKU brands (50+ SKUs preferred) * Strong expertise across Sponsored Ads (Products, Brands, Display) and retail media strategy * Experience working within bothSeller Central and/or Vendor Central environments * Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize large advertising budgets * Deep understanding of keyword strategy, search term analysis, and campaign structure * Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive decisions * Experience aligning advertising strategy with broader business functions such as inventory, pricing, and promotions * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of operating independently in a remote environment What We’re Looking For This role is ideal for ahands-on operator and strategic thinkerwho thrives in ownership-driven environments.
