Job Summary

The Elite Job is currently seeking a reliable, courteous, and safety-conscious Airport Shuttle Driver to transport passengers between Johannesburg and Pretoria on designated airport routes. This role is crucial to ensuring a seamless and stress-free travel experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport passengers between airports, hotels, and designated pick-up/drop-off locations across Johannesburg and Pretoria.

  • Ensure punctual departures and arrivals, adhering strictly to daily schedules and route assignments.

  • Assist passengers with luggage loading and unloading in a respectful and professional manner.

  • Maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-presented shuttle vehicle at all times.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.

  • Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure passenger safety.

  • Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and passenger logs as required.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and respond to route changes or last-minute requests.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent The Elite Job brand with professionalism and courtesy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid South African Drivers License with a PDP (Professional Driving Permit).

  • Clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.

  • Excellent time management and navigation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.

  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.

  • Fluency in English; additional local languages are a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in shuttle services, hospitality, tourism, or airport transfer sectors.

  • Previous experience navigating Johannesburg and Pretoria routes is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile communication devices.

Working Hours

  • Flexible schedule including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Shifts typically align with major flight schedules (both domestic and international).

  • Overtime may be required during peak travel seasons.
