Accounting Intern — Fully Remote

D.W. Morgan Company is looking for a motivated Accounting Intern to join our Finance & Accounting team. This is a fully remote internship offering hands-on exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement in a global business environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and month-end close activities
  • Support preparation of account reconciliations, schedules, and financial reports
  • Assist in reviewing and organizing invoices, expense reports, and supporting documents
  • Help maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
  • Assist with data analysis and preparation of management reports
  • Support Finance projects involving process improvement, automation, and reporting
  • Coordinate remotely with Finance team members and other departments on accounting-related requirements
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with financial data
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment
  • Reliable internet connection and suitable home workspace
  • Interest in financial reporting, analytics, accounting systems, and automation is an advantage
