Account Sales Manger - Sage Intacct

The Sales Account Manager plays a pivotal role in accelerating revenue growth through the sale of Sage Intacct solutions, working in close partnership with Business Partners across South Africa. This role collaborates closely with the Pre-Sales Engineering team to identify, shape, and close high-impact sales opportunities, delivering meaningful, value-led solutions that help customers transform their financial operations.
Location - 3 days per week out of our Johannesburg office.
- Proactively building and managing a strong pipeline of Sage Intacct sales opportunities
- Achieving and exceeding mutually agreed sales targets and quotas
- Owning the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification to deal closure, using Salesforce
- Driving pipeline growth through forecasting, demand generation, and proactive canvassing
- Building trusted, long-term relationships with Business Partners and key internal Sage stakeholders
- Developing a clear vertical market focus in collaboration with the Pre-Sales Engineering team
- Becoming a trusted Sage Intacct expert by maintaining in-depth knowledge of products, competitors, and industry trends
- What You Bring to the Role
Must Have:
- Solid accounting background with strong business and financial acumen
- 2-3 years' proven success in selling ERP or enterprise software solutions
- Experience working within a Business Partner or channel sales environment
- Valid driver's licence, own vehicle, and willingness to travel nationally
- A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently while thriving in a team environment
- Customer-centric mindset with exceptional service ethics and a positive, solutions-focused approach
- Confident communicator who can simplify complex solutions and clearly articulate value to customers
