About the Company - https://www.linkedin.com/company/jabronicapital/

We are a fast-growing media and content company operating at the intersection of startups, technology, venture capital, and culture.

Our media brand has generated 100M+ impressions across our portfolio and built an audience of approximately 200,000 followers . On the back of that success, we've built a world-class content agency helping venture-backed founders, CEOs, VCs, and senior technology executives build authority and influence across LinkedIn and X.

Our clients are backed by firms such as Sequoia, a16z, and other leading venture capital firms , with companies ranging from $5M to $1B+ in funding.

We don't operate like a traditional content agency. Our goal is to make our clients known, respected, and influential within their industries.

We're growing quickly, and we're looking for an exceptional person to take ownership of our client relationships and help us deliver a truly white-glove client experience .

The Role

As a Strategic Account Manager , you will own the relationships with a portfolio of high-profile founders, executives, and venture-backed companies.

You'll become the person who knows each client better than anyone else on the team — what they care about, what they're building, who they're trying to impress, what matters to them personally, and how we can continually add value.

This is a high-touch, relationship-driven role . You won't be responsible for writing content. Instead, you'll work closely with our writers and editors to make sure the overall client experience is exceptional.

You'll be trusted to operate independently, anticipate client needs, and become a genuine strategic partner to the executives you work with.

What You'll Do

  • Own relationships across 15+ clients , as well as new accounts as they come onboard.
  • Become deeply knowledgeable about each client, their business, goals, personality, interests, and network.
  • Run weekly client calls alongside the assigned writer and editor, taking the lead on the relationship.
  • Serve as the final client-side quality check on content before it reaches the client, ensuring it is aligned with their voice, goals, and expectations.
  • Anticipate client needs before they arise. Our clients should rarely need to ask twice — and ideally shouldn't need to ask at all.
  • Provide a genuinely white-glove client experience , going beyond the basic requirements of account management.
  • Proactively send clients interesting content, ideas, opportunities, introductions, and recommendations that are relevant to them.
  • Build and maintain relationships across our broader network of founders, investors, executives, agencies, and other professionals.
  • Identify opportunities to make valuable introductions between clients and people within our network.
  • Manage client gifting and experiences, including brainstorming appropriate gifts and handling the process from start to finish.
  • Handle commercial conversations including renewals, scope, pricing, upsells, and account expansion.
  • Monitor account health and proactively identify potential issues such as slow approvals, disengagement, or declining client satisfaction.
  • Keep writers and editors aligned with each client's preferences, expectations, personality, and goals.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and increase the value we provide.
  • Help make our clients feel like they have a trusted partner inside the company, not simply an agency managing their account.
You won't be doing this alone. Every account already has a dedicated writer and editor. You own the relationship; they own the content production.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an unusually high-caliber person.

The exact background matters less than the level at which you've operated, but we expect the strongest candidates to come from environments such as:

  • Management or strategy consulting
  • Investment banking
  • Wealth management
  • Private equity
  • High-end agency account management
  • Chief of Staff / Strategic Advisor roles
  • Other highly demanding, client-facing professional environments
Ideally, you have 2+ years of experience in a high-performance environment where the standard was exceptionally high and you were trusted with important relationships.

You Are

Highly polished and professional

You can comfortably communicate with founders, CEOs, investors, and senior executives. You know how to conduct yourself in a high-level environment and can represent the company exceptionally well.

Extremely relationship-oriented

You genuinely enjoy getting to know people. You remember details, understand what motivates people, and naturally look for ways to help.

Highly proactive

You don't wait for someone to tell you what needs to be done. You see something that could be improved, a client who needs attention, or an opportunity to add value — and you act on it.

Exceptionally organized

You have high executive function. You run your own system, manage competing priorities, follow through, and don't need someone checking behind you.

Fast and responsive

Our clients are senior executives who move quickly. You understand that responsiveness matters. When a client reaches out, they know they'll hear back from you.

Culturally and commercially aware

You genuinely follow technology, startups, venture capital, business, and the broader startup ecosystem. You understand how founders think, how venture-backed companies operate, and what matters to executives building companies.

Charismatic and socially intelligent

You read rooms well. You're warm, confident, personable, and able to adapt your communication style to different personalities and situations.

Naturally curious

You enjoy learning about businesses, people, industries, and opportunities. You're the kind of person who might see an interesting post and immediately think, "I need to send this to one of our clients."

Extremely high standards

You're the person people trust when something important needs to be handled properly. You don't settle for "good enough" when the client experience can be exceptional.

What This Role Is Not

You do not need to be a writer .

You will not be responsible for producing the content itself. We already have talented writers and editors handling that.

Your job is to understand the client deeply, manage the relationship, make sure the work is right for them, and continually find ways to provide more value.

This is fundamentally a relationship, client success, and strategic account management role .

Why This Opportunity Is Different

You'll be working directly with some of the most interesting people in the startup and technology ecosystem.

You'll build relationships with

  • Venture-backed founders
  • CEOs and senior executives
  • Venture capitalists
  • Investors
  • Technology leaders
  • Entrepreneurs
  • Other high-growth companies and professionals
You'll also have exposure to a rapidly growing business and the opportunity to build a network that can compound throughout your career. This is an opportunity for someone ambitious who wants to work closely with exceptional people, learn how high-growth companies operate, and build a career at the intersection of startups, technology, media, and venture capital .

Career Growth

We're growing quickly, and we want people who can grow with us.

As the company scales, every major function will need strong leaders — including Client Success, Account Management, Sales, and Operations .

For the right person, this role can evolve into significant leadership responsibility, with the potential to ultimately lead the entire client/account function or move into broader operational leadership.

The long-term ceiling for the right person is extremely high.

Tools You'll Use

  • Google Docs
  • Notion
  • Google Sheets
  • Airtable
  • Slack
  • WhatsApp
  • And whatever systems you use to stay organized and manage your day
What Success Looks Like Within your first few months, you'll become the person our clients instinctively turn to.

You'll know their businesses, their goals, their personalities, and their priorities.

You'll spot opportunities before they do, solve problems before they become problems, and make clients feel that they have someone internally who genuinely has their back.

Ultimately, our clients should feel that working with us is unlike working with any other agency — and you'll be one of the primary reasons why.
